One of the best things about reaching level 85 is your strength during PVP encounters. Sure, when you were level 40 a level 85 could come in and one-shot you. Now that you’re level 85, you’re a force to be reckoned with – or are you? What many players don’t understand is that it’s not just the level that gives you an advantage in PVP. Your talent tree plays a major role in your power as a PVP player. If you don’t build your tree for PVP, you will last longer in fights now that you hit level 85, but in the end you are still going to lose.
The following information will show you how to properly build your talent tree for PVP experiences and which spells give you the most PVP power in your Demonology spec.

PVP in Demonology
While some people say that Afflication is the way to go when you decide to PVP, others swear by the Demonology spec. Your Demonic Empowerment talent will instantly heal your Imp for 30 percent of its total health or your Voidwalker for 20 percent of its total health. It will also allow your Succubus to go into an improved invisibility state and the vanish effect will remove all movement impairment effects including stuns and snares from the Succubus.
The Hand of Gul’dan is also very beneficial in PVP, summoning a meteor down that will deal 1406 to 1660 in Shadow damage to your enemy and casting an aura of magic within 4 yards. This gives you a 10 percent increased chance to for crit hits to your target.
While it is true that Affliction warlocks are usually the PVP build of choice, there is definitely a benefit to spec’ing in Demonology and many Demonology warlocks have proven this spec’s power in the battleground and in arena.
