This build is one of the most common in higher end large group arena teams. It is seen in 3v3 however Soul Link can still be used in 3v3 as well so you have options there. In 5v5 this is what you should be using.
This build focuses more on utility. Send your pet on a target, apply dots and fear another target at the same time. Shadowburn is available for a quick burst down.
Drain life will not be nearly as useful in the larger arena teams.
