This build is considered to be the entry level raiding build. When you first step into karazhan you will need to use a build like this in order to be of any use.

This build puts a few more points into the destruction tree to help sustain a decent dps rate in a raid.

At first you might find you struggle to keep dps up with this build, the main reason behind this is because it is fairly useless against trash monsters. Don't waste your time with too many dots during trash fights - instead focus more on shadowbolts and shadow burn.
